Uhhh... Don't you know about rule 6-3?
So I caddied for Zady today. He played two rounds of golf... that's 36 holes, 13,400 yards, 7.6 miles. He played 18 holes... which took 4 1/2 hours. We played with a guy named Doug. He was a nice guy... he exploded a couple times. He would make a bad shot and say "oops, that's too far to the right. SON OF A BITCH! AHHHHH! JESUS CHRIST!" During the second half, a guy named Derek joined our group. He was second place overall. We played the back nine again... and then we went to the front nine again. Doug was fuckin' up, and he left us cuz he was doin' so poorly. So the three of us kept goin'... and we got to the third hole, which was really the 30th overall, then we hit a wall. There was a long wait. When we got to it, there was a group in the fairway, and a group on the teebox. We just laid in the shade for a bit... and rested. The group in front of us finally got on to the green, and it was our turn up. Zady and Derek tee off, and we start walkin', when the group behind of us come up to us and ask if they could join ours. Zady and Derek said OK. There were two of 'em. I didn't really care, why should I? So they teed off, and we all started walking to the balls. The second shots were underway... when these two guys on a golf cart come up to us...
"Can we have the whole group come here please?" So we all walk to the two guys, and they say "Are you familar with rule 6-3 in the USGA rulebook?" and all of us just shake our heads, confused as hell. "You two joined together to make one group, and that is in clear violation of rule 6-3. We are going to have to disqualify you all." We all just look at the two of 'em... and there was arguing involved... nothing really important. The fuckers kicked us out, and we just walked back. All the people we passed asked us why we were done so soon, and we told them all... and they all told us that it was stupid as hell. RIDICULOUS.
What a waste of everyone's time. It cost Zady $100 to join the damn tournament. Sickening. Apparently since we did this... we affected everyone else around us. We weren't being fair to the field. Oh c'mon now...

My livejournal is pretty much a deadjournal as of now...
I mentioned earlier... I have a livejournal, but I don't know if anyone knows about it. I'm done with it. It ain't that special. I'd rather stick with my tagboard then having people try to leave comments. Whatev. Should teach me to stop tryin' to change.

Suck my poppycock!
Daniel's been at my house for the past two days. It's been swell. On Wednesday we watched Half Baked. On Thursday I went to work then I picked up Daniel and then I went bowling with Joel, Scott, Daniel and Micah. Afterward Joel and Scott came over and we watched TV.
This morning, we had our house appraised, so I had to wake up at 8. Bullshit.
I then dropped off Daniel and work, then my mom at work. I picked up Michelle and we hung out. Oh the adventures we get in to. I stress her out a lot, but it's all in good fun. She knows that I love her!
I then went to Noah's house and he made dinner. Wow, Noah is a helluva good cook. He made us steak, chicken, pasta, mashed potatoes, garlic bread, and pie. Grace's boyfriend Tom came into town for a couple days. He's swell. He's a lotta fun. We all had a good time.
Tomorrow is Joelle's house! YAY!

China China Bass Bass England England Bass Bass Syria Syria Bass Bass
Oh what fun times we have during recording. ADN has grown closer as musicians these past few days. Recording is quite the bitch. Playbacks and three tracks and shooting pool and acting the fool and little sisters and finger blisters and sweat forming lakes and twenty bad takes... that is the life of recording.
We had a softball game last night. We won 19-18. Too close for comfort... but oh well. I went 2 for 2 and sat on the bench for three innings. I only played two. What crap. But I guess I am the most expendable guy on the team. Sucks.
Went out to dinner afterwards... talked some shit, typical.
Straylight Run and Rooney show tonight. Straylight Run is sure to steal the show. Michelle Nolan is so damn hot. John Nolan is quite the good lookin' guy too. I still wanna see the parents. I mean, the parents must be some good lookin' people too, no?

I WANT YOU TO STAY AWAY FROM THAT GIRL O-ZONE!
So let's see... the day after the Warped Tour, Wednesday, my dad knocked on my door at 8:00, telling me that we have a leaking pipe, and that we're gonna hafta turn off the water, and that if I needed to take a shower, I should do so then. So, begrudgingly, I did. I then proceeded to wait for the plumber for six hours, even though he never showed up. Turns out he was gonna come the next morning. So again, I woke up at 8:00 waiting for him. I was supposed to hang out with Jillian that day, but I had to cancel my plans with her so I could wait for the damn plumber. I am convinced that's the reason she got sick.
Also on Wednesday, some fucker in the Flower Hill Mall hit my truck, and didn't leave a note. So that was July 7th, and last July 7th, my mom hit my truck in the exact same spot. Fuckin' crazy. The only thing left to do was to change my fake birthday to July 7th. It only seemed appropriate. (See, my dad's side of the family has a lotta fake birthdays, because for some reason when they came to America, a lot of their birthdays were written incorrectly. So many of them have a real birthday, and a birthday that the US recognizes. So Tina, Lara and I also have fake birthdays, for shits and giggles.)
So Thursday night I hung out with Scotty boy. I picked him up and went to Pala. We played a lotta roulette. He did pretty well, I did not. We both lost money. I lost a considerable amount more than he did... but hey, it's just money right? I think people put too much emphasis on money anyway. If I wanna spend my money, then I think I should! If I wanna spend it on someone, then I think I should be able to!
Hell, I just bought another fuckin' track jacket online. It's hot. It's baby blue. It's a french jacket. Who doesn't like the French? It's ADIDAS, and it has the French emblem on it or something, and has a blue, red and white stripe on there I think. Who knows, alls I know is that it's hot.
Yesterday I had an impromptu practice with ANY DAY NOW. I wanna change the name. Jason wants to wait till we run out of stickers. Scott wants to sit down while Jason and I set up everything. Our practices are very interesting. They usually consist of me and Jason setting up everything, then Jason playing a bassline, me putting something to it, Scott playing some hippie, jazz, or hippie jazz music... and us trying to drown him out. When it's time to practice, he usually still isn't paying attention. We have to snap him back into reality. A good china hit or a rimshot does the job. (I just used the terms 'rimshot' and 'job' in the same sentence, and it wasn't remotely dirty.) Then we all play something, and we critique it, and work on the timing and the length of each section. Scott reminds me a lot of that Mendoza fellow from D2: The Mighty Ducks. But instead of skating fast, he's playing the guitar. He doesn't know how to stop, but once he figures it out... he'll be great. (love ya Scotty, you know that.) Well we recorded a rough version of a song that we've been working on for about three practices now. Tomorrow we are going to Jason's house and doing a final recording. Should be good. We are micin' up my drumset and playing in a more sound-friendly room. I'm excited.
Last night I went to the Moose residence. Patrick, Chris and I went to Rubio's, because Patrick has never been. He wasn't too impressed with the fish tacos, but he liked the burrito. We then went back to their house and watched the funniest movie of all time- BREAKIN' 2: ELECTRIC BOOGALOO. It's like an 80's YOU GOT SERVED. Their clothes are hilarious, and so is the acting and dancing. These break-dancin' kids just don't know when to stop dancing. They have the most ridiculous outfits as well. The main characters, Turbo and O-Zone are hilarious. Patrick and I aspire to be them one day. I'm O-Zone, he's Turbo. O-Zone wears a fatty rabbit's foot from his mullet jerry curl, and another on his belt. It's hot. There is this one chick in the movie with these hairy ass armpits. It's pretty beat. Pretty damned beat.
We also watched part of BERRY GORDY's THE LAST DRAGON... not to be confused with THE LAST DRAGON featuring Bruce Lee. This is a newer, more urban version. Instead of the main character being Bruce Lee, it's a black guy named Bruce Leroy. How funny is that? And the villian is this black guy named Sho'Nuff. It's hilarious. He looks like Busta Rhymes.
We then watched SAVED BY THE BELL: The Prom. Great stuff.
Slater: Hey, you move pretty good
Jessie: Thanks, you too. Do you realize we haven't fought in 15 seconds?
Slater: It's 20, shut up.
(more dancing)
Slater: So, have you found a date to prom yet?
Jessie: No, not yet. You?
Slater: Nah, I'm still narrowing it down.
Jessie: Yeah.
Slater: I don't suppose you might, um, err, wanna...
Jessie: Slater, are you asking me to go to prom with you?
Slater: Maybe, you interested?
Jessie: Maybe.
Slater: Maybe I pick you up at 7?
Jessie: No, I'll pick YOU up.

Smells like marijuana and cheese!
So today was the Warped Tour. Scott met Zady and me here, and we picked up Michelle and Micah and met Joel and Fawn at Burger King off of Via De La Valle. We lunched, then left. We got there at a perfect time... right when My Chemical Romance started. Time for some comments.
My Chemical Romance- Very good performance. It was nice to see Lara on stage. The drummer wasn't very good... not nearly as good as he is on the CD.
The Early November- Ace cut his hair, which I didn't like at all. Their mics were acting up too... and they didn't play EVER SO SWEET, so they lost points with me.
Alkaline Trio- Didn't really like their set list. No RADIO, which is understandable because it's too slow, like ESS for TEN. But no ALL ON BLACK, no CONTINENTAL, no HATING EVERY MINUTE
Thursday- They were pretty good. Geoff Rickly reminds me of Danny Pintauro from WHO'S THE BOSS?
Taking Back Sunday- Very good. YOU KNOW HOW I DO wasn't the best. Possibly because the drummer changed up the beat. I didn't enjoy that. But their new songs were great live. Adam's hair is gettin' a little out of control.
Coheed and Cambria- I called their set list exactly except for the last song. Wish they played TIME CONSUMER. I guess they play it now, but not at Warped Tour. Their set is too short. Sucked for me. Oh well. Still good stuff.
Flogging Molly- The suprise of the Warped Tour. I know three of their songs, but I liked them a lot live. They have a lotta fun on stage, and that's what it's all about.
Senses Fail- Buddy comin' out in a bra was a little ridiculous, but they were pretty good live. I'm glad Buddy didn't scream like he did the last time we saw him. Their new songs were pretty good. Wish I got a little NJ FALLS INTO THE ATLANTIC.
Best Warped Tour ever, by the way...

"Two Jews on a beach? It's gonna be a week of hunting for the highest SPF for the lowest price."
So this morning Zady and I wandered the state of California. We went to Juanita's, but it was packed... so we went to Rico's. Then we went to check out the lot for my new house, but I couldn't find it. so I took the 56 to the 15 to Mira Mesa Blvd to La Jolla Village to Tower records... I wasn't a huge fan of the Vagrant comp. I then shot pool... and we went back to my house. I checked out the blueprints for my new house. Construction drops in October. I get a bedet if I want one. sweet.
We then went to the Pirates softball game. Zady and I were throwin' around for a bit. I wanted to try to pitch a couple, so Zady squatted, and caught all three of my pitches. We switched positions and threw around some more, and then he wanted to pitch. I squatted like Tina at a campground... and Zady wound up to pitch. Apparently the ball left his hand way too early, and he threw the ball waaaay too far. Turns out Bobby was standing behind me, and he hit him directly in his right temple. Bobby fell to his knees and was down for a minute. He then got up... shook it off, and kept on troopin'.
We ended up losing the game 3-2. I had a catch in the outfield, went 2-2 and got an RBI. But since we lost... I didn't get the game ball. Fuck that shit. Game balls are given away for making a catch, but I guess they're only given away after wins. Still bullshit. I could fuckin' taste it.
Afterward Sam, her mom, her brother, Lara, Grace, Grandma and Patrick & Chris Moose came over for dinner. We watched FEAR FACTOR and FOR LOVE OR FOR MONEY. Great shows if you ask me. We had dinner then balled. Patrick, Chris and I won. ye yeah.

You mean you don't wrap your penis in toilet paper before you piss in a hotel room?!
On Thursday Tina, Lara, Zady, Alex, Grace and I flew to New York. The flight was the first ever direct flight from SD to NY on Delta. There were a buncha cameramen there... and people givin' out free food and drinks and such. It was interesting. The flight sucked. They played Scooby Doo 2 on the plane... but fuck that. I just listened to the new TBS and Midtown CDs. I tried to sleep... but I couldn't at all. I slept for about 20 minutes. We landed at around 5:30 and got a car and drove to Jersey. Traffic in NY sucks. Graffiti is everywhere. It's disgusting. Drivers in NY have more road rage than I... which is saying a lot.
We got to our hotel and crashed for a bit... I was staying with Zady and Alex, Tina and Grace bunked together, and Lara had a room with Chelsea... our cousin from Michigan. We met up with two other cousins from Michigan- Marwa and Ramse. The Moose boys Bobby and Patrick were also there.
We went to this church workshop thing the first day. We were all a little tired, cuz we were going on like two hours of sleep. The Stapleys fell asleep, but the rest of us paid attention. They were talkin' about the differences between Syrians and Americans. Riveting.
We all then got some lunch, and then got some more sleep. We then got dressed semi-casually... and went to our first party. It was all american music... and I was dancin' up a storm. I don't really know why. I'm usually not a huge dancer. Maybe because I was in front of family and I wouldn't mind making a fool of myself.
We left the party at around 3:30am, and Grace decided that she was hungry. The only good thing in NY/NJ is that they have more things open 24 hours. On the way to the hotel we found a bowling alley open 24hrs a day. How great is that?! They also have 24hr McDonalds there. But we decided to go to this dive of a diner called Tiffanys. The building is all shiny metal on the outside. The menu was huge, and I decided to get something I have never had before. I didn't even ask what it was. I ordered a pizza burger. It was not good. So around 5:30 we went to sleep.
The next morning the youth leaders knocked on our door at 8:30 to tell us to come pray with them. Heh... that's happening. We went to get some lunch that day then went outside to check out the SYRIAN OLYMPICS. There wasn't even a SD team. How disheartening. Montreal won. Stupid canadians. They're hosting the convention next year... and we're all goin' again. Anyway, afterward... the girls went to get refreshments, and the guys chilled at the hotel. They came back... we had fun, then got ready for the formal night. Had to wear a suit and tie. It was special.
That night we had another dance party...Apparently all you need is drums to start a dance party. A room of 600 arabs doesn't hurt either. This time it was mostly arabic music... with sporadic american music. We then had dinner along with a grand ol' time
Alex really liked this one girl named Tracy from Jersey. Or he thought her name was Tracy... he was eavesdropping on her conversation, and that's house he found out. He didn't say a word to her. The dancing pretty much consisted of him trying to find her and go dance near her, in hope that she would see him... turn around, and straddle him right there? I really didn't get it at all. It usually ended up with him and I dancing, because Tina got sick of following her. We called Tina a cockblock because she kept leaving, thus ruining Alex's chance of hooking up with Tracy. Heh, that's funny. He got mad because we were dancing in a circle next to her circle, and she turned around and started grinding her ass against me. He started with the "SHIIIIIT! WE GOT A NEW COCKBLOCK!" I am now The Cali Cockblock. Sweet. I like it.
On Sunday we woke up and packed and such, then went to the farewell picnic. We didn't even get to eat, because we had to still drive to JFK to catch our flight. So we said our goodbyes, and off we went.
The flight was longer on the way back. It sucked... cuz I was in the aisle seat, and I kept drifting off, until either the flight attendant or the stupid woman who decided to let her baby roam the aisles would run into my head. HIDALGO was playing... no way in hell I'd watch that. I watched a little WHOSE LINE, and played some GO FISH with Zady.
We got back to good ol' San Diego... got some dinner, regailed with the parentals.
Turns out they bought a lot while we were gone. It's off the 56, which means I have to drive like 30 minutes to school everday. Tina's drive is like 15 minutes now. My dad's drive is like 10 minutes, and my mom's is still about 45 minutes. We're tentatively moving in December 2005. God knows if I'll even talk to any of you by then... so it really doesn't matter right now.
At night I went to Laura's house with Zady. Michelle, Jillian, Natassia and Kristen were there. Anthony Simpson came later. We all had a good time.
The Warped Tour is tomorrow. Noteworthy things will happen, no doubt.
