So today, I went to school... and found out I don't have any class on Friday! YAY!!!! Anybody wanna do something on Friday? After math class, I met up with Paul and we went to the CSUSM Student Health Building and got some shots. Actually, I didn't need any, so Paul got them... and I waited, in the waiting room coincidentally. Then we had ECON class. Boring stuff...

Then I drove Paul to my house, let him borrow a tie of mine, went to Wal-Mart, then I dropped him off, and I went to Guitar Center. I wanted to trade in my mini-snare for bass heads and sticks, but I found out that you need to be 18 to trade anything. That's pure crap.

LESSON OF THE DAY: Viagra saves seal penises. It's true! Seal penises used to be sold because there is something in them that can be used as male stimulant... but then when Viagra came out in 1998... seals, harp seals to be specific, and their penises weren't needed anymore. So the demand for seal penis decreased, and as a result, 150,000 seals are saved each year.

Yesterday, after work... I came home and hung out with the family. Then Phil came and fixed my computer. Then, Michelle called me while she was at the Radiohead concert, and let me listen to KARMA POLICE. It just got me thinkin'... Michelle took time from listening to her favorite band in the world to call me and let me listen to my favorite song by that band. THANKS MICHELLE!!! I OWE YOU ONE!

Then, once again... like the night before, I started thinking about a funny moment that happened on my family trip to Las Vegas. We were eating dinner at this Italian place, and Lara got cut. Now normally this wouldn't be funny, it would be sad, but see the thing is... she didn't get cut by a knife. She got cut by a piece of bread. I couldn't stop laughing last nite. I'm sorry Lara. I love you! You're great Lara!!! What would your life be like if I wasn't around?!

Tiger Lily *Matchbook Romance*

One of my favorite songs by Jason Mraz is "You and I Both" but the video for that song bothers me. The story is that Jason is at the bank, and there is this teller that he likes, so he always tries to see her... but all these things keep happening. So finally, he sees her, and gives her a note that says GIVE ME WHAT I WANT and then her boss comes over, and pushes this button. All of a sudden, all these papers start flying all over the place, and the whole bank staff starts dancing like a bad Drew Carey introduction. I was frightened. I don't really like the video for "The Remedy" even though I was there for the taping.

I worked yesterday for 9 hours. Joel's family stopped by... that was a delightful suprise. Lara and Alex came by too... that was invigorating. After that, I picked up Michelle, and we ate, then went to the movies. We met Micah there, and we saw Anything Else. But when we went into the theatre... we saw Joel and Tina in there. Tina claims she told me that she was going to La Costa to see ANYTHING ELSE, but I don't think she did. It was merely coincidence... I didn't go to spy on them.

After that, we went to Barnes and Noble, and I talked to Chelsea for a bit... and then we left. Michelle slept over my house... and she introduced me to Carson, Jai, Ted, Thom and Kyan... aka THE FAB FIVE. They're on a show called QUEER EYE FOR THE STRAIGHT GUY. I've never actually watched it until 1:00 am on Sunday... and I must say, it's quite the interesting show. Michelle and I ended up going to sleep around 2:00. We woke up, got ready... then Tina and I dropped Michelle off at UCSD then went to UTC to get me a shirt. On my way, I got the most disturbing text message from Joel "Gimme the Damn Ball" Muller. One of my favorite bands broke up last nite...

It was brought to my attention that I had forgotten an activity that I was involved in on Wednesday by my thoughtful and studious cousin Lara. On Wednesday, before school... I went to Paramount to go out to lunch with Lara and Grace. Grace was a little late, so Lara followed me to CSUSM so I could get a good parking spot. Then she picked me up and took me to the Old Spaghetti Factory. Then we got lost, and saw a fire... then we met Grace to eat there. It was delightful. We were in the caboose.

Went to class with Tina today. Her professor, Professor Freeman, seemed like a bitter man who wouldn't stop talking about old bachelors. I think he is a bitter bachelor himself. He also admitted that he had too much to drink last nite. This is the person who is supposed to be shaping the minds of America. Helluva job.

I had band practice today. Johnny had this really tough song for us today. Jillian wrote good lyrics, and I couldn't stop fucking up on the drums. I failed my band today... I was horendous. I couldn't get the timing down, I would forget the beats... it was horrible. I got so pissed off at one point, that I threw my sticks, and got within inches of my father's Porsche. That wouldn't have been good.

Class was boring yesterday... oh well. Usual Wednesday. After school, Tina and I went to pick up Joel and Michelle and took them to Tower Records. Joel has been wanting the Matchbook Romance CD for quite some time now, and I thought that I should take him to get it. Plus, I haven't seen him in a while, so I wanted to hang out with him. I saw Michelle on Tuesday, but I wanted to hang out with her too. I'm gonna see them both tonite, and both on Friday. I'm gonna get my weekly dose of Triton, I'd say.

Hot Hot Heat was pretty damn good. The Joggers were adequate, and I enjoyed the French Kicks. The pit was a little much. The stupid girls that were dancing were very unappealing. Especially stupid girls with black mullets and hoop earrings. Stupid girls, take your black mullets and hoop earrings back to the 80s.

Michelle has a very organized dorm room. I'm proud of her. I'm kinda regretting not letting her clean my room. Oh well, I don't want her to do such things. I'm in her photo album 12 times... I was happy that I've made such an impact on somebody's life. :-)

On Sunday I went to the show. In the morning... suprise suprise, we didn't practice. But that's fine, I still had a great time at the show. Vendetta Red was pretty good... Brand New was awesome, MXPX was great, and Dashboard Confessional was AMAZING. So as you can t ell... I throughly enjoyed the show.

HOT HOT HEAT TONITE! MICHELLE CALLS SHOTTY!

Yesterday... yesterday was quite busy for me. In the morning, I worked for five hours... then I came home and took a nap. Then I picked up Jillian, and we went to go see A Static Lullaby. We met Cameron over there... and I must say, quite the funny guy. I enjoy his company immensely.

The first band that played was called HEADS UP. They were this poppy band, which really had no place there, cuz they got no crowd response AT ALL.

The second band was called MURDER MY LOVE. Now I went into this thinkin' that they were gonna be horrible, but I was dead wrong. They were really good, and had great stage presence. When they came out, all the lights went down, and then that really creepy part in Willy Wonka (MICHELLE!) played over the speakers. Ya know, the part where he starts freakin' out, and everyone around him is really confused, and it really has no place in the movie? They were a screamo band, but they were still pretty damn good. I even got a sticker to put on my truck. But this morning, when I went outside to my truck, somebody had already put a MURDER MY LOVE sticker on there for me. That was nice of them, I guess. It wasn't the sticker that I wanted, but they put it in the right place!

The third band was Endor. The lead singer is like Nate Jr. he looks just like Nat from Finch's brother... Cameron informed me that that was Nate's brother, which was quite odd. They sound the same for the most part, 'cept Nate is a little better. Randy from Finch a.k.a. R2K actually played guitar for them. Bitchen

The fourth band was Off By One. Now I consider myself to be an Off By One fan, especially since I've seen them four times now. There aren't too many bands that I've seen four times. (Larger Than Life, Starting Line, New Found Glory, MXPX, Something Corporate) They really didn't belong there either, but they brought a healthy crowd o' girls... so at least they had some support. Of course, there's always an asshole in the corner who hates the pop music, and feels as if he needs to be vocal about it. "Get off the stage! You suck!" and he got no response either. The singer told him off, and everyone started cheering. They played some new stuff, and I enjoyed it. During OFF BY ONE, all the hardcore kids got bored, so they started a huge mosh pit... and these two girls decided to stage a protest. They sat down in the middle of the pit... not the best idea. The moshers didn't care... they stepped on 'em like they were stupid girls sittin' in the middle of a mosh pit. Ah, Ghandi woulda been proud.

The final band was A Static Lullaby. They were very good, I must say. I almost regret missing them at the Finch show back in March. Ah well, they put on a great show. The singer screams like he does that for a living. During this set, the pit got a little rowdy, and people started swingin' arms and kickin'... it was more wild and more crazy than my old PE teacher Donny Jeffcoat. Once during the set, everyone cleared the circle, and people would go in one by one, and start dancing, like they do at dances. It was crazy... the breakin' dancing kid with the bandana over his face stole the show in my opinion.

Tonite is the Dashboard Confessional/MXPX/Brand New/Vendetta Red show! Boy howdy, that's gonna be a great show. I'm excited! WOO HOO!

Well wouldn't ya know it... the first try I have, I throw in two quarters, and win it for him. I've never won it before in my life! Then, I wanted to keep playing, and I won it again! On my second try! I was on a hot streak... it was overall craziness.

Went bowling on Thursday night... Helluva time. On Friday, I had lunch with Chelsea, then went to school. After that, I went to LCC to watch the football game... then Red Robin... then went to Camille's house to say goodbye to a lotta people. It's weird, cuz I never talked to Camille all four years at LCC, but she was very hospitable and kind to me and Joel and Tina, which I appreciated. THANKS CAMILLE!

Went to breakfast with Tina, Joel, Scott and Tyler.... then went to school. After that, I went to the Motion City Soundtrack show with Joel. I was supposed to go with a group of about eight, but what can I say... it widdled down to two. Mae didn't even freakin' play... they cancelled for some reason... so we pretty much paid $14 to see Motion City Soundtrack, but it was quite worth it.

Went out to lunch with Michelle and Joel today. It was a good time. Then I went to class... wrote a partial song during math... hung out with Paul during the break, like the old times, then went to Econ. After that I went to Virge's house, but he wasn't there. I decided that I'm gonna do a daily or maybe one every couple days TOP 5 list... cuz I saw a preview of HIGH FIDELITY on TV, and I got to remembering... they did TOP 5 everything in that movie!

My blog hasn't worked for a while... so I'm gonna blog now.

Thursday- I went to the Drive Thru Invasion Tour... and saw The Early November, Senses Fail, Allister, Homegrown, and The Starting Line. Great show... all the bands were good.

Friday- Went to Garrett's show with Michelle. They played well, but the crowd sucked. They were assholes. Hung out with Tina afterwards and went to In-N-Out

Saturday- Went to work at 8 and made some good money. Went shoe shopping for Joel and myself. Hung out with Scott and Tyler at night.

Sunday- Hung out with Joel in the morning and watched football. Went to a luncheon for the family... then went to Jason's house for a bit. Overall... a good weekend. Found out some stuff that I really didn't want to know, but it was still good nevertheless.

So this is my third freakin' blog. For some reason... my other two disappeared on me. I'm the only person that I know that has had this happen. But hey... I'm not gonna give up. If something doesn't work... you try to fix it. And if it dies or disappears, you get a new one to replace it.
