I wonder when I wander home If I'll be fit to drink alone...

Went to lunch with Grace, Tina and Lara. Learned some fun stuff...

Went to work for 2.5 hours. What a waste of time. Oh well... I needed the money

On my way home, I got stuck in traffic. Joel decided to come to the game. We were both stuck in traffic for a while. It took me over an hour to get home. Bullshit. The worst part was when people tried to pass us on Rancho Santa Fe. What fuckin' dicks. I mean, who the fuck do they think they are? Does their shit not stink? FUCK 'EM ALL. Are they more important than the people they passed?

After I met Joel, we went to the game. The Pirates won 15-8. I got two singles and two runs. Though both of my hits were shitty little full-swing-bunts... I made it to first. Yay.

We went to Rossi's pizza afterwards to celebrate. Joel and I got to sit on the reject table. Fun. Joel came over afterward and he, Tina and I watched THE INFERNO. we then played some NFL STREET and called it a night. It's 2:00am, and I just finished packing. It took me about ten minutes. I don't know what Tina was freakin' out about... I am an excellent packer. Don't be dirty...

I guess I'll talk to everyone on Friday. Text message me all you want... I'll have my phone on! SONOMA HERE I COME!

Giggady Giggady Giggady! + Jagger Pt. 2 + Get Up Kids Pt. 2 = An Even Better Mother Fuckin' Great Day

Everyone that reads this pretty much knows what happens Saturday. Read Tina or Lara's blog.

But oh yesterday... yesterday was quite the day. So I woke up to Johnny calling me at 9:30am. Dude wants to buy my bass amp. Uh, I haven't talked to him in 3 months, haven't seen him in 5 months, and he calls me up telling me he wants to buy my bass amp to give to his girlfriend for his new band. Why the hell would I need an electric bass without an amp?

After that ordeal, I had breakfast and went to open up The Wine Connection with Tina. Turns out Gene left the Wine Connection on Saturday night, and forgot his carkeys in TWC. He walked home from work to his apartment... the ones near La Costa Canyon. Poor guy... 11 miles.

After I lounged at home for a bit, I went to drop off our road trip video to Matt at his house. I then proceeded to pick up Michelle. While she was getting ready, I was outside in the suite talking to Chris. He's a nice guy. He is very polite and reserved... I like him.

Michelle and I then drove up to Fullerton to pick up Zady. We did our usual thing- Piebald, Motion City Soundtrack, Hot Hot Heat...

We picked up Zady and then we went to Denny's. So we got to the Glasshouse, but we missed SAY ANYTHING. We got there right when Rocky Votolato was starting... so it was very good timing. I lied on the ground while Michelle was up close. Zady was watching over me... and had to answer the questions from the security guards. "Hey, is he OK?" "Yeah, he's just tired."

I text messaged Grace, and asked her if Phil had come home yet, and if she had heard from him. She called me back and left a message on my phone, asking me if I was joking. Apparently he didn't come home till Monday. I hadn't fed his dog since Saturday morning, and I had the house key. SHIIIIIT.

So we bought some merch after Rocky Votolato, and went outside to my truck and waited. That's the brilliance of the Glasshouse... in and outs! So while we are waiting outside, this woman comes up to us and asks for some change. We give her some. This guy then comes up to us and says "Hey, can I sit with you guys?" We agreed. He was noticeably older than us... kinda looked like Adam from AVERAGE JOE, but without the huge mouth. His eyes were redder than the Get Up Kids shirt I bought at the show. He sat next to Zady... luckily I was in the middle. (Heh Joel.) Michelle and I were talking... and Zady was just sitting there. The guy pulls out a keychain and points to an A with a circle around it, and asks Zady if he knew what it was. Zady didn't know, but Michelle and I knew it was an ANARCHY sign. He pulled out a lighter and lights a twig, then looks at it, then 'eats' the flame, and smiles at us. He asked us how old we are. "17, 18, 19." ... "You need to stop thinking about time in years and centuries. You need to think of time in infinity." He then asked us what we were learning in school. We were all pretty stumped really. I asked "Hmmm, is anyone else cold? I am freezing?" Michelle, being the crafty little vixen she is, caught on to my subtle hint, and said "We should get you inside!" So we politely got up and left, but me being the outgoing idiot that I am said "It was nice meeting you, what was your name?" to which he replied "No names, man. Don't you understand that that's how people label others? I mean, people are trying to make you believe a lot of things, a lot of things that they believe in. You gotta make your own choices man. Don't worry, you'll do fine. I know you'll do good things. Just be careful man. Don't follow other people man. Listen to yourself. You know what's up. But whatever you do, don't get caught! Whatever happens happens!"

So after that lovely ordeal, we went back inside. We caught two songs by RECOVER. The Get Up Kids came on shortly after. They were amazing. They played nearly the same set, but instead of ANNE ARBOUR they played SICK IN HER SKIN and CLOSE TO ME. Great set. During the set, Matt Pryor said "Giggady Giggady Giggady!" hehe, funny guy. During the last song, TEN MINUTES, the crowd got pretty rowdy, and a couple people jumped on stage. One person ran into Jim Suptic's guitar and detuned it. So after a while of trying to tune it, he gave up and just grabbed the mic and started beltin' out them lyrics. Matt's guitar got unplugged... so he dropped it on the ground and did the same. And the last lines sang by The Get Up Kids were "EVERYTHING WILL WORK OUT!" Amazing.

So after dropping Zady off, Michelle and I headed back to San Diego. I hauled ass to Phil's house to check on the dog. Dumb bastard didn't even touch his dry food. Turns out he did take a shit in Phil's weight room though. Ooops. I fed him and then dropped Michelle off at UCSD. It's nice driving on the road at night. I got from Phil's house to UCSD and back in 45 minutes. I went to sleep almost immediately. When I woke up, Phil was there. He did enjoy my prank though.

Six Crispy Shrimp Tacos + Six Cups of Rubio's Hot Sauce + The Get Up Kids Equals One Mother Fuckin' Great Day

So I procrastinated like usual. I had an essay that was due at 10 on Friday morning. I woke up at 8:00, fed that damn dog, then left Phil's house to go to my school. I went to the computer lab, typed up my essay... and went to class. Paul and Peter weren't there, nor did they show up. That really hurts their grades. Oh well... can't force them to come to class, right?

After class I had to pick up a wine cellar from some place in San Marcos. After that I went home and my aunt and Paul were there. We all hung out for a bit. That kid is definitely smart. Well no wonder... he's half Ari, and half Bishar. All boys like that are smart, and excellent drummers as well apparently. He went outside cuz he wanted to play my drums with me. What a character. I talked to Scott on the phone for a bit. After they left, Tina came home. I got ready, and we went to pick up Michelle to go to Rubio's. Since it is Friday, Tina and I cannot have meat, due to lent. So we go to Rubio's, because we can eat fish, or shrimp, or something of that nature. I had three crispy shrimp tacos, along with three cups of hot sauce, and an extremely sweet cup of ice tea. Michelle loved it. Afterward, we went to McDonalds to have some Sundaes. That was quite pleasant. Haven't hung out with Michelle and Tina in a while! I don't really remember the last time we did that, even though I am sure we have before. The two of them haven't seen each other in a bit. Michelle finds Tina and I humorous when we get together for some reason. We are bastards when the two of us get together... especially if Lara is there.

Then I dropped off Michelle and went home. Scotty called me up and he picked me up to go to Guitar Center. We met his friend Matt over there. We were there for a whole 10 minutes, then Scott got hungry, so we went to Panda Express. Matt and I watched Scott eat. He's probably the slowest eater I have ever seen.

I went home, and Paul came over. We went to Mira Mesa to go check out THE GET UP KIDS. We met Matt at Rubio's and got some dinner. We hung out there for a good hour and just talked. By the time we got to the Epicentre, Rocky Votolato was on his second-to-last song. We checked out the merch. They got all new shirts, and they have some really nice stuff. I did get a GET UP KIDS button though.

Recover was OK. Nothing too bad. I enjoyed them I guess. They're a little hard, but that's still good wit me!

THE GET UP KIDS WERE AMAZING. PLAIN AND SIMPLE. DON'T REALLY HAVE MUCH ELSE TO SAY ABOUT IT. THEY WERE CRAZY GOOD, AND I CAN'T WAIT TO SEE THEM ON SUNDAY, AND AGAIN WITH THE CIVIC TOUR (apparently.)

JUST SO YA KNOW...

Yeah... since it is Friday, and I gotta go to The Wine Connection tomorrow, I'm gonna save all major blogging for then. But let me tell you... what a great day I had today!

Just Plain Unsportsmanlike...

OK, the reason why I said the score was 15-14 was because it should have been. We were the home team, and we had 15 runs. The other team was comin' back from a 10 run deficit (again) but this time we stopped them at 14. We had two minutes left in the game. So since it was our turn to bat, the umpire should have stopped the game and gave us the win. But for some reason, he let us bat. So Lisa goes up to bat, and strikes out. While she was batting... our team started arguing with each other. Edgurd told us that we have two minutes left in the game because the umpire told us that, and Bobby said that if we could draw out this inning... then the game could be over. Alex starts yelling saying "WHY ARE WE WATCHING THE CLOCK? WE WERE UP 15-5 AND NOW WE ARE UP 15-14. STOP WATCHING THE CLOCK!" So Bobby was being very diplomatic and explaining what was going on... and Edgurd came in and stopped it. So Ari is up at bat... and he hits a blooper into shallow right center. The centerfielder dove for it, and missed it. Ari, being the speed demon that he is, hauled ass around all the bases, and had an inside-the-park-homerun. So somebody else went to bat... I don't exactly remember who. She got out. So we had two outs, and the ump called time. The last inning was completely unnecessary, and shouldn't even be counted.

It's Been A While

Haven't blogged in a while. I decided to skip class this morning to go to Guitar Center to get some guitar cables and a mic cable. So I did. Interesting story huh?

Jason and Scott came over and we had a practice. One year ago... last March 22nd, ANY DAY NOW had our first and only show. It was interesting. So we jammed a year later. It wasn't goo shabby. Jason blew out his PA. Sorry buddy.

Scott, Joel, Fawn and I went to get some lunch afterward. Fawn is really nice. She's funny too... she catches on to our sick humor quite sick. That's a good thing though! After that we went to Lou's and I got the TBS CD. I was sick of waiting for Kristen to gimme back my CD. I'm never gonna get that fuckin' thing back. We got McFlurries afterward.

Later on, I went over to the apartment to chill with Daniel. We decided we wanna make T-Shirts. We have some designs drawn out for our APOCALYPSE T-Shirts. WHAT'S YOUR STATUS?

Had a softball game at night. WE WON! YE YEAH! 15-14! We had some fights goin' on out team. We had some hot tempered bastards on our team. Fuck it. I went 2 for 3 with a run. I'm tired...

Take That, Rewind It Back. Tom's Got the Beat That Make Yo' Booty Go...

So after the drunken phone call at 1:30am Thursday morning from Sammy Ginn... I went to sleep. I woke up, and decided that I didn't wanna go to my class, cuz I was gonna go to the mall with Scotty. Turns out Scotty doesn't wanna go to the mall anymore, so I skipped my class for no reason. Oh well... I went out to lunch with Grace, Tina and Lara. It was fun times. Definitely fun times... definitely. Right Lara?

Went to class then met Jason at the San Marcos movie theater. We went to Guitar Center to get me a mic. We hung out there for a bit. Scotty met us over there. We then went to Rubio's cuz Jason was hungry. Afterward I went to the apartment cuz it was Daniel's birthday. His mom suprised him by going into his apartment while he was in class and decorated his whole room, and cooked him chicken, buffalo wings, and baked him a cake. It was all really nice. So I ate dinner with him and Ty. Patty has bronchitus. Poor Patty...

I then went home cuz we were supposed to go see a movie, but Ty and Patty fell asleep, and Daniel was on the phone. So I came home and watched Will and Grace with Tina... and since The Apprentice wasn't on, I went back over to the apartment. They rented a movie, so I went to watch. Turns out the movie was AMERICAN HISTORY X. That movie is seriously fucked. I was so disturbed by it. Ed Norton is definitely one of the best actors I've ever seen. He's the best villian ever. He is so evil...

Time to get my tickets for the Projekt Revolution Tour featuring Linkin Park, Snoop Dogg, Korn and The Used. I'm gonna get an extra pit ticket and sell it and get bank.

ASININE QUESTION OF THE DAY

Why am I bringing this back even though I don't think anyone will answer them?

My name's Scott, I don't smoke pot, well not a lot, I have a robot, No I don't...

That doesn't rhyme buddy...

What a busy few days! Hmmm... let's see

Monday went to lunch with Lara and Grace, and went to classes and all. The softball games weren't that great... oh well. I got outta my slump.

Tuesday I went to work. I had a fatty essay to write, but I procrastinated. I got a call from Kristen to go to Starbucks, so I went with her instead of writing my paper. We had fun... we met Micah there. Kristne and I have good times when driving... we drive in TOM STYLE, which includes windows down, moonroof open, and music blasting. I got back and decided to write my paper. It had to be 1500 words, and needed a bibliography. I had to find three scholarly works. I chose to make a mix CD instead of writing my paper. Before I know it... Conan O'Brein comes on... and I say FUCK THE PAPER. I watch TV and then go to sleep.

I wake up early to drop off Tina's car at Evan's Tires to get the brakes fixed and the oil changed. I bought two STARBUCKS drinks, and went home and got crackin'. I skipped Psych class to do so. I had to do a stupid writing center appointment. I came back home and gave Micah a drum lesson. I was so suprised. He did so well on the beat that I wrote out for him. He has a real knack for reading the music. I am proud.

I finished my paper right quick. Scotty showed up at the perfect time. I missed that kid. He's hilarious. We went over to my school to drop off the paper. I saw Peter there and talked to him for a short bit. I showed Scott the other Bologna... Joel ask me about this.

Met Micah at Pat & Oscars and we decided to go over to his house. We played some games for a bit... good times. Scotty can't rhyme. Oh well. We watched D2 as well. Joel came over and watched with us. He's quite the fan of that movie... he can recite lines like me. But he knows much more than I do. We then went to shoot pool, and got a bite to eat. We decided that we were gonna go chill at my house and play Mario Tennis, the best game ever. Patty called me right when I dropped off Micah. So Patty came over. The four of us played Mario Tennis... until Kristen called. So she came over, and we all hung out. Patty drove us to Jack In The Box, and we all hung out over there. Quite the busy day I had. SCOTTY HAS THE COMPUTER GAME "DAY OF THE TENTACLE!" That game rocks! Lara, you know that game... it's the one with the lanky geeky guy and his fat brother Hoagie and you hafta save the world from those aliens? SWEEEEET.

Goin' to the mall tomorrow with Scott... then goin' to class... then going to Guitar Center with Jason... then going to see Daniel cuz it's his birthday... then ? OoOoOoOoOoH

TOP FIVE BEST MUSICIANS IN MORE THAN ONE BAND

Travis Barker
Matt Pryor
Ben Gibbard
Daryl Palumbo
Tom Bishar

I was here... but I'm not a faggot!

So yesterday was interesting as hell. Woke up to John Lennon and Yoko Ono on the radio talking about their religious points of view. That's what I get for listening to an oldies station. Showered and got ready to go have practice. Grace was supposed to pick me up, and we were supposed to go pick up Alex, and play somewhere near his house. Lara called and said that she wanted to play now (heh) so Grace and I had to go find something to kill some time. I got new cleats and these really hot reversible shorts... gold and black. Noice. (Shoutout to Jason!)

We went to eat at Red Robin... then went to practice at Stagecoach. About ten minutes into the practice... after throwing the ball around for a bit, Lara got tired. She sat down. Her sitting down only proved my theory of her only going to practice for the free lunch. So she went and sat in her car while Grace, Alex and I continued practicing for a good 45 minutes more. We have a double header on Monday... so practice helped.

Went home and got ready and picked up Jillian to go see Head Automatica. We then went to pick up Joel... but I went to the wrong place. I thought he was at his dorm, but he was at home. Sorry again Joel. So while he was coming to La Jolla, we went to go see Michelle. We hung out with her for a whole 10 minutes, then left. Went down to SOMA... watched Head Automatica. Good stuff... I enjoyed them. Can't wait for their CD. We went to Taco Bell afterward and had Natassia and her brother meet us there. I dropped off Jillian and Joel met me at my house. We watched the Dane Cook DVD, then went into my kitchen... and that's where the fun started...

Joel and I were talking till about 1:00am, then Scotty calls me. I talked to him on the phone and relayed all his comments back to Joel, and then I thought of something I used to do in 8th grade a lot. THREE WAY CALLING. So I called Joel, then I called Scott... and the three of us talked on the phone together for nearly two hours. I didn't go to sleep till 4:00am! HOT DAMN! I have class at 10am, and a double-header tonight! SHIIIIIIIIT!

Does That Make Me A Pansy?

Went to psych class yesterday to take my midterm. Not as bad as I predicted. I think I did fairly well on it. Let's hope so...

After class Peter, Paul and I went to the plaza and hung out there for a bit. Mark came over, then Julie. Paul and I wandered around the campus while Peter talked to Julie. They were gone when we got back. I think they got lunch. Paul and I went to Home Depot in search of carubineers... but all they had were purple and pink. All the manly men beat me there. So we went back to school, and met Peter, but he already ate, so we went to the mall in search of a birthday present for Paul's brother Matthew. He got him some clothes. Paul and I got some lunch, talked to Jillian on the phone for a bit, and went off on our way. Jillian is coming to the Head Automatica show with Joel and me tomorrow. Anyone else wanna go?

Went home and watched Family Ties with Tina. That show is so old-school. It's great. It's the typical sitcom... they all have the same problems... and they all have the same episodes. I then took a good two hour nap. I picked up Joel to go buy the Juliana Theory tickets from Cane's as well. On my way to Joel's dorm, I almost got into a huge accident. The guy next to me was trying to switch lanes, but didn't notice that I was there... so I had to swerve outta the way to avoid death and all. The sad thing is, I didn't stop singing MARTYR ME by The Get Up Kids during the whole fiasco. I swerved with my left, honked with my right, and belted with my vocal chords.

We went by Michelle's dorm to see if she was there... but to no avail.

Went to get dinner at Rubio's. We met Micah over there. What a hoodlum, that Micah. He doesn't even use the entrance... he just hops the wall. Silly Micah.

The three of us went to see Starsky and Hutch. It was quite a good movie. The people behind us enjoyed it especially. What am I talking about you ask? Well when the lights went on, and people started filing out, I turned around and saw the people behind us. This woman was rubbing this man's chest. His shirt was completely unbuttoned. Oh yeah, their kid was sitting right next to them! For the child's sake, have some control!

We then went to go shoot pool. I sucked it up... like usual.

This morning the exact same thing happened to me on the freeway. Another brush with death... c'mon people- LEARN TO DRIVE!

Micah came by the Wine Connection today to buy a flask for his brother's birthday. I like visits at work! Ya know what else I realized I like? I like letters. But not like the Count from Seseame Street... I mean letters that people write to me. They're so fun reading. It's nice to get something that somebody has taken their time on... it makes you feel special. I read the note that Michelle wrote to me before I went to Michigan again today. It was swell. Thanks Michelle!

NATTY ICE!

Had a sociology final today. I thought it was pretty straight forward... nothing I wasn't expecting. I was happy with it. I then went to meet Paul and Peter at the library to get some studying done. Suprise Suprise... Paul was still at home when I called. Peter called me and asked me if I could meet him at Henri's place to study. I was down with that. I got us some food and went over. Paul showed up... we didn't get much studying done. Paul was too busy with his Natty Ice. Peter and I were tryin', but Paul wouldn't have it. Oh well... Peter and I went to class, so we know what's goin' on. Paul doesn't go... so he's a little fucked. Whatever.

I went to GEL. Boring as hell. I like to rhyme.

Came home, and we had company. My aunt, Talia, Olivia and Paul were there. Nice suprise. Olivia is learning her states and capitals. Good times... I remember those days. I dominated my S&C. I've known them all since 2nd grade. I will challenge anybody to a S&C duel... even those little five-year old asian kids that go on The Tonight Show, recite the capitals to any state Jay Leno asks, and then goes and plays some Bach on the piano in front of everyone. I could take those little five-year-olds.

I then went to UCSD to get some dinner with my Triton friends. I picked up Joel and we met Michelle at her dorm and got some dinner. Joel had to part ways with us, cuz he had some studying to do. WHEN I SAY 'JOEL' YOU SAY 'MULLER'... JOEL! MULLER! JOEL! MULLER! Joel didn't appreciate Michelle and I singing. Sorry Joel. It's OK... Joel got to tell his favorite story to Michelle today... the one about how I was a complete asshole in middle school. Ah, that one never gets old.

Michelle and I motored back to her room to watch WILL AND GRACE, but it wasn't on. I made Michelle miss it. I'm a prick, like in middle school. We watched THE APPRENTICE instead. What a show. The only woman I wanted to win just got booted. Oh well... better luck next time.

Picked my mom up from the airport at 10:15. We had nice conversations about me and my studying habits on the way home. It's like she never left!

I want a rotary cell phone. How fuckin' sick would that be?

Anyway... went to Psych today. Peter was there. Hung out with him after class, like usual. I then went to PTS to go out to lunch. Did some homework there... then went to my writing center appointment. My school has a stupid requirement that you have to get help from professors at our school eight times for a half hour a time on a writing assignment. Ridiculous. If you don't get all eight, then you don't pass. It's shit. So I had my second one today. The woman was nice... she let me out early.

Went to the batting cages at Boomer's with Lara and Grace afterward. I don't understand how I can make contact on every ball at the cages, but not hit anything during the game. I guess I was nervous or something. I was rockin' those cages like a stripper at an exotic bar.

Afterward we went into the arcade. We saw this crazy guy playin' Dance Dance Revolution Extreme, and Lara thought it looked pretty easy. This guy was getting PERFECT each time. He had like 100 combos... he was the best player I had ever seen. So Lara challenged me to a DDR face off. I killed her. She thought you were just supposed to step on the arrow whenever the hell you felt like it. She did horribly. Well that same guy came up to watch us, all sweaty and shit... and started watching. I let Grace play, and Lara let the guy play. He killed Grace. Grace then let me play... and I held my own. I felt like I was part of the STOMP group with him, cuz we were doing the exact same moves at the same time. It was great. Lara asked to take a picture with him, so the three of us took a picture... then I shook his hand and asked him what his name was. Eric...

Well here I am. I don't know how to say this...

Sosh. Afterward I went to pick up Kristen. She didn't want to eat lunch with me, but she offered to come along for the ride. So we went to Subway, then Starbucks. We had a grand time. Went back to school and was bored outta my mind. Went home... slept.

Showered and went to meet Daniel at his place. His best friend from high school was down here... he was coming to the Saves the Day show with us. Ty was there... he got a new tattoo today. A cross on his left arm. It's a celtic cross. It looks really nice. His friend from Cloverdale is down here. He's going out with her twin sister... they're really close.

So I drove down to pick up Joel at UCSD, and Daniel and Trace went to pick up their tickets at Daniel's house. We met up at Panda Express and ate and went to the show. We got there halfway through The Fire Theft's set. It wasn't too bad. Grandaddy wasn't as bad the second time around. They played a different set... a more upbeat set.

We met up with Matt and Jake after Grandaddy played. We didn't see them very long... maybe a whole five minutes the whole night. Saves the Day was great, as usual. They played BYE BYE BABY again, which made me happy... along with SONGS IN THE SILENCE. Too bad I can't find that song anywhere. They played Daniel's three favorite songs- "Nightengale, Freakish, and This Is Not An Exit", so he was happy. He locked his keys in his car though... so after the show, we chilled outside in my truck for a bit till the towtruck came.

Between Grandaddy and Saves the Day, SOMA had a nice little Tom Jones thing goin'... three Tom Jones songs in like 15 minutes. Sweet. Daniel and Trace were dancing throughout the night... they're both pretty good. I can't say that I'm not envious. I wish I could sing, and I wish I could dance. That's the only way into a girl's pants.

"Dude, if I found out that Emily Parks was in a gangbang, I would have cried my little eyes out."

My GE Writing teacher after discussing a poem read in class involving a slutty high school crush. What a funny guy.

Went to Psych today. Peter was there. I showed up a few minutes late. Stupid bitch took my spot today at school. It's a big dirt lot, so there were plenty of spots. We were at the end... I pulled in forward a bit, not straight or anything... then I throw my truck into reverse. She comes headin' up, so I stopped to let her pass. She takes the space directly behind me. What the hell? I was just pissed... thought it was noteworthy.

Peter and I hung out for a bit after class. Went to Escondido to run errands. Fun times with Peter...

Went home for a bit to check on Tina and such. Hope you feel better soon Tina! I hate it when you're sick. This may be a rare occasion when I'm not the one that got you sick. Hope you feel better! Love ya tons!

Went out to lunch with Grace and Lara... worked at PTS for a bit. Went to class. Funny story happened in class. This girl brought in a friend to class with her today. I always thought she was Indian. She looks middle eastern, but I thought I heard her saying something about India one day, so maybe it just clicked into my head that she's Indian. Anyway... her friend and her were speaking Arabic together. We were in little groups, and after we were done with our work, they started talking. I was talking to the other two girls in my group... and I could overhear them talking. Her friend was looking at me, and in Arabic she said "Look at his eyes" and the girl in my class said "Yes, they're very beautiful." Haha... I thought that was hilarious. I didn't say anything back... that would just be embarassing for everyone. I should have though... that woulda been interesting.

After school I went to Kristen's house to go visit Matt and her. I saw Kesley Ginn on the way there. She didn't recognize me at all. I was honkin' and wavin'... nothing. I got outta my truck and called up Matt. He was at Target with Kristen. I'm on the phone and I hear "TOM! TOM! SORRY! I DIDN'T NOTICE YOUR TRUCK!" It was Kelsey screamin' from 10 houses down. Funny family.

I went to Target to visit Matt and Kristen. Gave Matt his tickets for the STD show tomorrow. We chatted for a bit... good stuff.

Went to visit Paul cuz it was his birthday today. He's the cutest kid. When he saw me he started screaming and wanted me to hold him. He kept hugging me... he's the greatest. I swear, I'm usually a nice, happy, easy going, happy-go-lucky guy, but he makes me 10 times that way. He's so pure and innocent... I love it.

(BIG BLANK SPOT FOR 2 HOURS THAT WILL BE FOREVER FORGOTTEN)

Went out to dinner with dad, Grace, Grandma, Lara, Alex and their mom. Alex and I are back to normal again... yay.

Bye Bye Baby Bye Bye Bye Baby Bye Bye Bye Baby Bye Bye

So I woke up on Friday and went to meet Paul to do some homework for Psychology class. After class... Paul and I went to eat. We then went to Henri's place and met up with Peter. We hung out over there for a bit... then I left. I went up to Fullerton. I hung out with my aunt for a bit till Zady got home. Zady and I then went to pick up Ilyana. We drove around for a bit... then went back to their house. I was in need of some money, and cashed in my winning lottery ticket. I won $10, so that helped. We played Monopoly there... their dad kicked my ass. KICKED MY ASS. Zady, Ilyana and I then left to go to the Early November show in Pomona. We got there a little early, so we went to get some dinner at Denny's. Zady and I played SUGAR PACKETS there. I won. The object is simple. It's almost like paper football. You slide a sugar packet across the table and if you can get it to hang off partially, then the opposing player has to eat the packet of sugar. Sweet...

So we then went to go watch Hey Mercedes and the Early November. The crowd for The Early November was CRAZY. They opened with EVERYNIGHT'S ANOTHER STORY, and the crowd went off... they started jumping up on stage. Nearly twenty people jumped up on there during the one song... and didn't let up throughout the night. They are so damn good live. Ace Enders is THE MAN. He's right up there with Matt Pryor, Chris Conley, Jesse Lacey, and Geoff Rickly. Ye Yeah.

Saturday morning we had breakfast then went to Arrowhead Pond in Anaheim to watch Zady's high school basketball team play in the CIF championship. They won... Congratulations to the Sunny Hills Lancers. WHOOSH! (During every free throw, the fans put their first two fingers up, and if the player makes the free throw, they slam it down and say WHOOSH!)

I then left to Riverside. It was a pleasant drive... nice scenic routes, after the traffic. I met up with Qui at his place. I met Dinesh... his roommate that went to Rancho Buena Vista with him, and his girlfriend Emily. They both seem nice. Qui and I then went to his frat bros' house. We hung out over there for a couple hours... kickin' back.

We then went to Downtown Disney to check out the Save the Day show. We walked around for a bit, then went inside the House of Blues. I sold my extra ticket to a shady guy over there for $20. Qui and I went inside and watched Dios. They were NOT good. Zady showed up right as The Fire Theft was starting. They were adequate. Nothing special. Grandaddy was awful. AWFUL. They had a video screen goin' on in the background... their singer had a fatty synth set along with keyboard and guitar. The drummer was off to the side behind a sound shield. Heh.

Saves the Day was GREAT. They always are. They play an amazing show. They played two songs I didn't know... one was new called BYE BYE BABY. Both great songs. I don't know what the other song is... but I liked it a whole lot.

Qui and I then went back to his place after getting some dinner. We went back to his dorm and watched Family Guy till about 3:30. Qui slept in his girlfriend's room, and I slept in his bed. I had to wake up at fuckin' 7 in the morning to move my car from the student lot to the visitor lot, and I had to buy a parking pass for two hours. I left there at 9 and got home around 10.

Softball practice was OK. I batted OK... but I was gunnin' those balls to first base from deep left. I hurt my arm cuz I was throwin' them so hard... so I need to lay off so I can play tomorrow. I am now watching a commercial with old people hittin' a beer bong, yet it's not beer... it's milk or somefin'. Sweet.

I am on my laptop! ye yeah

It's Always the Ones you Least Suspect...

Instead of going to sociology today... I went out to lunch with Joel. We went to Chipotle, then we came back to my house and played video games for a couple of hours. He kicked my ass. I lost track of time and got to class a few minutes late. Oh well. Daniel called me up and wanted me to come over after class. I got let out early, and Joel wasn't coming for another 45 minutes, so I went there for a bit. We hung out... nothin' big. Just quality time with my boy Daniel.

Joel came over and we met Phil and played racquetball. Phil won two... Joel won one. I sucked it up. I don't remember sucking it up so badly. I used to have a really bad temper, and I would hit my racquet against the wall. I actually kept hitting it on the same side, that I bent my racquet. It was slanted quite noticeably. Well let's just say that I got angry again today, and my racquet is back to normal. We went to Denny's afterward. Denny's and I didn't agree though...

Came home and watched the Apprentice. I am so glad Omarosa got kicked out... she pissed me off. YOU'RE FIRED BITCH.

Sam Ginn is home! Yay for Sam! She's great... so much energy, so much life! Tina, Sam and I chatted for about an hour... then Sam said she wanted to play a board game. She chose Monopoly.

We sat down to play Monopoly, and she asked me what my favorite properties were. I told her the baby blues... Oriental, Vermont and Connecticut Ave... and the Railroads. Tina buys two railroads, and Sam buys Oriental. I knew I shouldn't have told them. I got some good money though... I hit the free parking a couple times, and banked in on that. I bought everything I landed on. If the Apprentice has taught me anything, it's that we should take risks. Tina built two houses on Baltic and Meditteranean... so I threw a hotel on each light blue one, after some skillful trading for them with Sam. I kept gettin' money... so I eventually bought the railroads from Tina. Long story short... HOTELS ON VERMONT, CONNECTICUT, ORIENTAL, KENTUCKY, ILLINOIS, INDIANA, PARK PLACE, and BOARDWALK. The two of them turned ugly, quick. They started rolling the dice and intentionally knocking down my hotels. They were loaning each other money constantly. They would be mad when they had to pay me and didn't have any money. They would both team up on me to pay me for landing on a property. They would throw money at me like I was a stripper. They would call me names because I wanted to collect the money. I offered to take their properties that they paid $140 for, instead of them paying me $1500, but they were both too ignant to do so. Damn... ignance kills.

She wants to close the gap... but there's no duct tape in this pocket bitch!

Went to psychology in the morning... Peter and Paul weren't there. Boring class by myself.

After that I went home for my five hour break. Patrick came over and we jammed. We didn't have a mic stand, so we took a huge vice I had on my garage floor, and a wooden pole, a mic holder, and a whole lotta duct tape, and made a mic stand. It was great. It worked so well... it was adjustable and everything! We jammed for a couple hours... till Patrick blew the bass outta his amp. SUCKS. Sorry Patty. We were jammin' though...

Went back to school to GEW and watched CLOCKWATCHERS. Lisa Kudrow and Parker Posey are in it... so is the woman from SHAFT with Samuel L. Jackson- don't know her name.

Played racquetball with Phil. When we got there... some fuck named Rob wanted to play cutthroat with us. We let him play, even though we didn't want to play with him. I don't know why... I guess we just didn't wanna seem like dicks. He killed us. I bet in his sick little mind he felt good after he kicked our asses. He shook our hands after each match. STUPID FUCKER.

I need you like water in my lungs...

I was late for Sociology this morning... who cares.

I went to the plaza, and Peter and Paul were gone. They were looking for a place to hold a formal, so they were on a mission. I decided to head down to Best Buy in Oceanside to get me the Get Up Kids CD. I got a copy for Michelle and Joel too.

Went back to school and as I was walkin' to the cafeteria, I talked to Scotty on the phone. I'm excited for the STD show... should be fun. I went to class and did a skit. It was pretty. My only line was "Dude, you should totally come to the party... there are gonna be a lotta girls. You're guaranteed action!"

Went to UCSD to pick up Joel. I made it from CSUSM to UCSD in a half hour. Damn. That's crazy. We went to shoot pool, but apparently you can't shoot pool at SportsCity past 4 if you are under 21. How stupid. So we got some ice cream from Mootown instead. It's pretty good. We also went to Tower Records. There is a CD there called A TRIBUTE TO GOOD CHARLOTTE, which is pretty much a buncha bands doing covers of Good Charlotte. How sad.

We then went to Michelle's dorm for THE GET UP KIDS LISTENING PARTY. Brandy was in the room... and the four of us listened to it for a bit. Brandy came in and out, as well as Michelle #1, and Nicky. Fuckin' Gilbert... tryin' to make me jealous. Nevermind... that doesn't make much sense to some of you.

Then Joel, Michelle and I went to go get some dinner from OVT. We all chatted and had a good time. Michelle told me that she could never imagine me kissing a girl. How sweet. I was insulted, but she didn't mean anything mean by it... so I'll let it go. Oh I'm gonna suprise her with a huge kiss one day. She won't be expecting it... but oh she'll get it. hehehe

After dinner I dropped Joel off and went over to Lara and Alex's house. I called up Ursula when I left Joel's parking lot, and talked to her for over a half hour. I hadn't talked to her in a while... she seemed happy.

I then picked up Tina... visited Merge for a little bit, and came home. Our laptops came in. SWEEEEEET.

New Reality Game Show

I got a kick outta this. I was listening to Kevin and Bean in the morning on KROQ like I always do... and they were talking about a new game show based on Gilligan's Island. They take about a dozen people, and put them on an island without phones, computers, radios, etc... and if they can find a way off the island, they win money. That would be funny as hell to watch. I think the best part will be the headstrong guy who doesn't know his limitations trying to swim off the island, only to have a helicopter and scuba diving team come and save him. Should be interesting.

SONG OF THE MONTH: THE GET UP KIDS- MARTYR ME

just to get by
and try to stay high
its a good life, end of discussion
and the hours like sand the holes in my hand
im a good soul martyr me

and im wastin my life
its passin me by
its a good fight
throw in the towel

and the hours i spend arent enough to pay rent
im just sinking water deep

but if all i have defeat

tonight if your awake at all
tonight if your awake..
tonight if your awake at all
tonight if your awake..

case of my crime, and lack of my time
its a road block,need a catharsist
the patience is spent
a virtue i sent to the basement
far from me

the less that i spend on the mess that im in
i could be used on something of value
the time on my side isnt anything ive ever needed

cant you see..but if all i have defeat

tonight if your awake at all
tonight if your awake..
tonight if your awake at all
tonight if your awake..

every unsuspecting scene
when were supposed to make believe
the wind not tearin at the seams
we hang on..we hang on,we hang on

tonight if your awake at all
tonight if your awake..
tonight if your awake at all
tonight if your awake..

tonight if your awake at all
tonight if your awake..
tonight if your awake at all
tonight if your awake..

Why did the blond bring sandpaper to the desert? Cuz she thought it was a map!

aw I kill me.

Didn't go to class at all today. It was a nice three day weekend. I went to PTS at 10 to work. Grace, Tina, Lara and I went out to lunch... and then I went back to work. Fun times at PTS. Well, not really. I went home to rest before the big first game tonight.

FUCK RAIN. Our game got postponed. You are not allowed to play games in the rain... apparently it ruins the fields. Pussies. Just like the pros...

So Grace made a salad and ordered pizza, and my dad, grandma and uncle came over and had dinner with Grace, Tina, Lara and myself. We had a good time I guess.

Can't wait till tomorrow. THE GUILT SHOW MOTHA FUCKA! I'm so damn excited for that CD. I've been waiting for months... and it comes out tomorrow! LISTENING PARTY AT SIXTH COLLEGE!
